PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND BENEFICIARIES:
Save the vision of 50 people, through equal number of cataract surgeries for poor people in Santo Domingo, Santiago and Barahona. Prevent the increase of eye diseases by lack of eye care through the completion of 28 eye surgeries that benefit more than two thousand people in different parts of the country.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Our Club, in accordance with the National Association for the Blind Inc., has agreed to make these 50 cataract surgeries in different hospitals, and 28 eye operations throughout the country. Selected hospitals perform surgeries at cost, allowing for little investment we can make as many surgeries. The National Association for the Blind will be responsible for coordinating these surgeries hospitals, monitoring and conducting full of 28 eye operations.
