PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND BENEFICIARIES:
Bring habitat rehabilitation of blind people, who generally are locked in their homes, leaving aside the possibility to go and live every day to the fullest. The project involves the purchase of a bus for the use of the National Board of the Blind, for a team of doctors and technical specialists can move anywhere in the country to achieve the goal of rehabilitating blind, so this project would be changing the lives of thousands of people who cannot see.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The National Association for the Blind, Inc., has the responsibility to keep the habitat rehabilitation of the blind mode is called based on the Community (RBC) Rehabilitation, using the resources of communities and involving families and people in their environment the rehabilitation process, in order to sensitize them about the importance of following up on the techniques taught by community teachers, so that the blind person can move faster and integrate social and labor.
For this it is necessary to have a vehicle for 12-16 passengers, since the same would move to the team both rehabilitation and ophthalmologic operations of the Board. This vehicle is also used to transport the blind to activities and communities outside their environment.
